We would all like to wish Marianna the best, as she starts her maternity leave! We shall all miss her, and can’t wait to meet the new addition to her family……..Good luck from us all, Marianna!
Julie Dewit is flying out to speak at the conference. The aim of our presentation is to present an up-to-date review and provide valuable insights into the carbonate plays of the circum-Adriatic area, with a strong focus on exploration-related issues.
The presentation is aimed at both Industry personnel and academics alike, and will provide an excellent regional context in which to understand the future potential of these carbonate reservoirs.
Thanks to everyone; staff, clients, sub-contractors and students who have worked with us. Happy Birthday
This month, Benoit had an article published in Sedimentary Geology – the article is entitled “High resolution ion microprobe investigation of the δ18O of carbonate cements (Jurassic, Paris Basin, France): New insights and pending questions” – please feel free to download the attached copy for your reference.
Congratulations from everyone at Cambridge Carbonates to Marianna and Luke on the safe arrival of baby Elias! We can’t wait to meet him!
AAPG have recently published Jo and Andy’s presentation from the Bahrain conference last year as part of their Search and Discovery Series. The presentation, entitled “Underexplored Opportunities in the Arabian Plate: Application of Global Analogues” can be downloaded here.
The 2017 Mountjoy Conference, sponsored by SEPM and CSPG, will be held at the University of Texas Learning Commons and the Texas Bureau of Economic Geology core facilities. The Conference will showcase new approaches and results through oral and poster sessions as well as core workshops and selected fieldtrips.
Congratulations to both Francis and Benoit, who have had their abstracts accepted for the upcoming Mountjoy meeting in Austin in July 2017.
In the week leading up to Easter, Jen set us all at CCL a task - an exciting Easter Egg Hunt! Solve the clues, and find the most Easter Eggs!
Julie found the most eggs and Shaun was the overall winner for finding the surprise egg with a T-rex in it! Great fun!
